| Hiking/Biking Trails Quail Ridge Park offers approximately three miles of paved trail that connects park amenities. In addition, four miles of natural trail wind through woods and rugged terrain to offer close-up views of the wildlife and native flora found inside the park. Occasionally, due to inclement weather, the Parks Department is forced to close its natural surface trails to bicyclists in order to protect them from damage. Henry’s Pond Recognizing the former property owner — Henry Stealey — “Henry’s Pond,” located next to Shelter #4, is stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish. Additionally, a three-acre fishing lake near the Lodge and Gazebo is also stocked with bluegill, bass, and catfish. Fishing within the park is governed by the regulations of the Missouri Department of Conservation. |

NHPA Hall of Fame Museum Located near the park entrance, the Hall of Fame houses a museum displaying memorabilia and trophies, 16 indoor pitching courts, a food-service area, meeting/office space, and eight outdoor courts open for public use. Off-Leash Dog Area The 1.5-acre dog park at Quail Ridge Park is the first of its kind in St. Charles County. With separate areas for large and small dogs, plus a covered pavilion, the facility offers great fun with your furry friend. Owners and pets must comply with all posted rules when using the park. Occasionally, due to inclement weather, the Parks Department is forced to close its dog parks in order to protect them from damage. 18-hole Disc Golf Course The Quail Ridge Park Disc Golf Course offers a nice mix of short and long holes that travel in and out of the woods along rolling terrain to challenge beginners and experts alike. Scorecards, with a map of the course, are available at the kiosk near Tee #1. |
