Veterans age 55 and older participating in the 26^th National Veterans Gold Age Games (NVGAG) will be visiting Quail Ridge Park (5501 Quail Ridge Parkway in Wentzville) on June 4, 2012 to compete in a National Horseshoe Pitching Championship Tournament.   Partnering with the Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club, approximately 350 horseshoe pitchers from across the country will participate in this national event. The contestants will be throwing both indoor and outdoor. This Horseshoe Competition is only one of several events going on throughout the St. Louis area from May 31 to June 5.
