Celebrate National Fishing & Boating Week
The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation has designated June 2 – 10 as National Fishing and Boating Week! Celebrate by utilizing the public boat ramps at Hideaway Harbor Park, as well as the many fishing waterways at:
Broemmelsiek Park, 1615 Schwede Road at Highway DD/Winghaven Blvd., south of O’Fallon
Hideaway Harbor Park, on Sioux Dr., off Portage Rd., in Portage des Sioux
Indian Camp Creek Park, 2679 Dietrich Road at Highway 61, near Wentzville
Louis H. Bangert Memorial Wildlife Area, entrance situated along Old South River Road at Fifth Street, in St. Charles
Klondike Park, 4600 Highway 94 South, in Augusta
Quail Ridge Park, 5501 Quail Ridge Parkway, in Wentzville
Towne Park, 100 Towne Park Drive off of Farris Road at Highway 61, near Wentzville

Also, don’t forget about Missouri Free Fishing Days June 9 and 10. No permit is needed to fish at any waterway in the state. Contact the St. Charles County Parks Department at 636.949.7535 to check on a lake’s fishing status.
