Youth Activity Park Hosts Youth Lock-In August 4

Skate and play the night away at St. Charles County’s Youth Lock-In, Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Youth Activity Park, 7801 Highway N, Dardenne Prairie. This around-the-clock event provides a safe place for children ages 12 – 18 to enjoy an assortment of alternative sports, skate competitions with prizes, and a pizza party at midnight! Pre-registration is required.

Beginning at 6 p.m. and ending the next morning at 6 a.m., participants will have all-night access to the 33,000 square-foot skate park and all its amenities, which include: an indoor recreation complex with a rock climbing wall, video gaming areas, table tennis, air hockey and foosball tables, and an outdoor volleyball court and half-court basketball.  

“The Youth Activity Park is largest public outdoor skate park in the Midwest, complete with state-of-the-art bowls, ramps and trick rails,” said Parks Director Bettie Yahn-Kramer. “Participants can challenge a friend in the Best Trick or game of S-K-A-T-E contests, or just show off their latest moves on the massive skate course.”
